Dancing for Joy

It's the time of year for celebration,
for family and friends,
for connection at a heart level.

What special things in your life
make you dance with joy?

At this time in my life, waking up free of pain sends me bouncing around and dancing for joy.

A thoughtful question.

Enjoy the holidays, and dance your heart out.

its raining here with bright sunshine. which of course means that there is also a rainbow in the sky. my kids have declared it necessary to do a "rainbow dance." i shall go join in now!

meri, have a wonderful christmas!
Okay -- I'm giving up. I can't find any new ways of saying how much I love your work. Great, exquisite, fantastic, etc. So, Merry Christmas, and love, Mark

Time. Time to sit and look at the tree. Time to read a book aloud while my daughter snuggles in and my husband rubs my feet. Time to laugh with friends. Just time. The stilling of the hurry-hurry rush-rush impulse.

Rainbows and rainbow dances, freedom from pain, finding art you enjoy, the luxury of time for things you love --- ALL of these are perfect examples of what makes us jump for joy. And not one of them costs anything. Isn't that amazing?
