What Makes You Rock?

What song from your past
makes you break out in a huge grin
and makes you want to dance?

Here's one that does it for me
in a major way.

Does Bryan Adams do the same for you?

No?
Who does?

What songs took up residence in your smile zone,
made you want to dance with somebody?

Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You, which was pretty popular in 1987-1988 when Glenn Medeiros sang it. Has many memories attached to the song.

I went to his concert ... while I lived in Puyallup ... some ... gosh 20 years ago ...

I like the Doobie Brothers ... went to their concert two years ago.

I'm a rock and roll gal.

I loved Prince back in the day. Still find myself liking some of his newest work but those older songs of his were classic.

Bryan Adams' song I'll Always Be There has special meaning for me and John. It's one of our songs. The other two are by Allison Kraus (Looking In The Eyes Of Love) and Sting (I Was Brought To My Senses). I even wrote a poem using a line from this song.

I could go on and on but, I'll say I hope you have a great day instead. See ya~

I enjoy Bryan Adams too ~ especially his "Unplugged" CD. I've had other, more passing phases, such as Great Big Sea and Barenaked Ladies! But then, I enjoy a lot of the dance music from the 1970s, 1980s and early 1990s! Guess I'm showing my age!
